I have been photographing the DeMarco family for years and Ava since she was a baby. I had to go back and pull a couple of her from past years to add to this post. She was the cutest most beautiful baby and now on her Communion Day, looked gorgeous as ever. We took so many photos and she never complained! Sweet and patient!

When my niece Emily asked me to photograph her wedding I was truly honored.
Couples always have their favorite season and Emily & Rich were no exception. When they told me the wedding was January 7th 2016 at Mystic Seaport, in Connecticut, my first thought was maybe we will have an unseasonably mild day. What a great location for outdoor wedding photos!
As we know, having a winter wedding can pose some challenges, but it can also work out for both the winter loving bride & groom and the photographer. Although we did not make it to all the locations I scouted out before the wedding, it couldn’t have been more perfect in every way, even the unexpected snow storm. They couldn’t have been happier.
Last week I photographed a special little girl at the beautiful Greek orthodox Church, St Nicholas in West Babylon. I have had the pleasure of working with this wonderful family a few times. First was the baby shower, then the newborn photo shoot and most recently, the Christening, which was by far the most beautiful baptism I have ever seen. Here are a few images from all 3 milestones that I wanted to share.
Ahhhh YOUNG LOVE! I met Eric Colby & Michelle Wagner at West Meadow Beach for their engagement session. Eric won a gift certificate for my services at a charity event over the summer. I had no idea what to expect since I never met him before. How lucky was I to have such an adorable couple to work with. www.traceyspero.com
Long Island family photographer, bright, bold, energetic portraits of people.
Summer is pretty much here and I have been preparing for my upcoming photo shoots. I have been scouting locations all over NYC and Long Island. I have so many different locations that I am excited to share with all my clients. This was the first time that I scheduled a photo shoot in Cold Spring Harbor. This town has a little bit of everything and for this session we stayed right by the water.
Had such a fun night shooting candids at this Bar-Mitzvah over the weekend. The place was packed and filled with love & life celebrating Shelby & Dylan. Watching everyone have a blast is always a thrill to me. The venue was Club Aura in East Meadow.
If you promote yourself using social media, such as facebook, twitter, linked in OR your company needs a branding face lift a professional headshot session is a great investment. For all you entrepreneurs out there, what better way to set yourself apart from the rest. Whether you are designing a new website or preparing for a new branding message, you want your image to look PROFESSIONAL, CONFIDENT and APPROACHABLE.
I received a phone call from Lena about a month ago. She told me what her future plans were regarding her career and explained to me what look she was going for. I did some research and put together an inspiration board which included images that appealed to her, as well as some ideas I had to the board. The purpose of the inspiration board is to help me create outstanding portraits for you and your company with no guessing game. The process from start to finish is a true collaboration. After agreeing on a date, time and location, I reached out to my hair and makeup artist AnnMarie Behling from Pretty Committee to review what our plans are for the day. We all worked together for about 3 hours and below are the results.
Matthew’s Bar Mitzvah was at the Harbor Club at Prime, in Huntington and it was a blast! I spent some time with Matthew before the party started grabbing some pics of him in the beautifully decorated room. White couches, sports themed decor and a orange and navy blue color scheme created a stunning look for the room. The Showplace, located in New York, Nassau and the Hampton’s, produced the idea and made the room come to life. In addition to the perfect setting was the entertainment. The dancers from Ej the Dj were so friendly and kept the party at such a high energy level the guests had no choice but to get up and dance.
